Artemis' Whisper

Artemis' Whisper symbolizes the Goddess of the Hunt. She is also associated with the moon. Artemis had a bow and an arrow made by Hephaestus. She had a lot of sides to her nature. She could be wild and destructive or kind and gentle. When Zeus and Leto had Artemis, Hera found out and she put a curse on Leto so that she could only have her baby in the dark. Leto went into a cave and Artemis was born, then minutes later Leto had Artemis' twin brother Apollo.

Now that I've introduced you to the Goddess Artemis, here's a little on why I chose her to title my blog. The Goddess of the Hunt, in modern day is seeking, and as I am seeking to enrich my spirituality, I found her most fascinating. Artemis is known as a fierce hunter, as well as a protector. She is considered the Protector of the vulnerable. The moon is a symbol of Artemis and her time is the new moon, and of course, you all know how much I love the moon. I carry the Goddess Artemis with me always with a cross bow tattoo on my left shoulder.

This blog will be centered around different spiritual beliefs for all who find themselves seeking. Today is Easter Sunday, a perfect day to launch this blog, as it is a day of renewal. I will welcome all comments, as I'm learning too.
